Everyone, be on your guard! I'm not expecting a lot of trouble, but tomorrow is a day when at least a few pranks are gonna be pulled. Check your showerheads before bathing and make sure the salt and soy sauce caps are screwed on tightly before using them. Keep a wary eye out for booby-traps of every kind, and don't bother responding if anyone asks you if your nose is running.

Also, in the event that some prank does befall you, make sure you still get your papers in to me on time. We've got the best track record among the squads for turning in all our paper work on time, so let's keep it that way!

I found Ando-san. He was a sorry sight, though... Looks like he was on the losing side of a pretty bad brawl. He was too beat up to talk about it, so I took him straight to the Fourth. He did go to Rukongai without leave, and it seems that someone (or several someones) out there didn't like the look of him and decided to let him know about it. Renji-san, how much trouble is he in? He's hurt real bad. Is he gonna be court martialed?

Hey everyone, don't forget the Christmas party tonight! Let's all enthusiastically celebrate the holidays together, okay?

[Rikichi's on a tight budget, so he was only able to get a few presents for people in his Division.

Renji-san, aka "The Coolest Captain Ever," gets a super awesome ribbon (except it says "Coolest Captain Ever" instead of "First Place"). The other thing is a soccer ball, for future futsal needs.

Hinamori-fukutaichou enjoys reading, so for her to display some of her books, she's getting a lovely set of bookends.

Since Sachiko-san loves bracelets, she receives them in abundance. They're all organized in groups of five and tied to green floral wire to look like a bouquet of bangles.

Muguruma-san's gift is a kit for cleaning, oiling, and sharpening blades. Rikichi hopes it's put to good use!]
